Mitchell (“Mitch”) Paden is a Consulting Actuary with Perr&Knight.  At Perr&Knight, Mitch provides a wide variety of consulting services with a focus on loss reserving studies and ratemaking for multiple lines of business.  Beyond ratemaking studies, Mitch works with clients to ensure submission and approval of product filings to their respective departments of insurance.  He handles filings in multiple states across the country including form filings, by-peril rating program submissions and personal auto class plan filings.  In addition, Mitch works extensively with California personal auto, submitting numerous filings and recommending class plan changes to client programs.

Prior to joining the actuarial practice at Perr&Knight’s Santa Monica office, Mitch was a member of Perr&Knight’s Statistical Reporting & Data Services unit, where he was responsible for the submission of statistical data for multiple companies across virtually all lines of business.  Prior to that, Mitch was employed at Farmer’s Insurance.

Mitch graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Economics in 2007.  Mitch became an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 2014 and became a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2017.
