Mark Larson, ACAS, MAAA

Mark Larson, ACAS, MAAA, is a Consulting Actuary with Perr & Knight bringing extensive ratemaking expertise across both personal and commercial lines.  His actuarial experience spans a wide range of insurance products including personal and commercial automobile, motorcycle, workers compensation, general liability, and commercial property insurance.

Prior to joining Perr & Knight in 2025, Mark worked for Progressive Insurance where he was responsible for pricing workers’ compensation for package delivery and cannabis products.  In addition, he streamlined data from legacy systems into actionable formats, enhancing the precision and efficiency of rate analyses and filings. Prior to his time at Progressive, Mark held positions with Taylor-Walker Consulting, Nationwide Insurance, and Grange Insurance where his focus was in personal auto, commercial auto, general liability, and commercial property.

Mark graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics in 2003 where he was named to the Big Sky Academic All-Conference team for track and field.  He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mark is also actively pursuing a fellowship designation.
