Chief Sales Officer
Scott A. Knight is a Managing Principal and Chief Sales Officer with Perr&Knight, the firm he co-founded with Tim Perr in 1994. In addition to his duties as Managing Principal, he is responsible for the oversight of the sales and marketing functions for the firm. Scott is the lead contact for many of the firm’s largest clients as his expertise centers on sales, marketing, account management, and business development.
Following several years as a branch manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Scott entered the insurance industry in 1992 with sales and marketing positions first at State Farm and then Pacific Mutual. Coupled with experience as a licensed Fire & Casualty agent, as well as a Life & Health insurance producer, Scott brings hands on insight to the marketing of Perr&Knight’s consulting services. Scott works in Perr&Knight’s home office located in Santa Monica, California.
Scott was born in Newport Beach, California and graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1988 with a degree in Psychology. A lifelong Californian, Scott resides in Santa Monica, California with his wife and two children. In addition to his other credentials, Scott is a member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP), is a frequent speaker at insurance-related seminars and workshops, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica.
