Project Manager – Cincinnati, OH Area – Telecommuting Position

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Project Manager for our Operations and Technical Consulting department.    At Perr&Knight, a Project Manager in the Development Services Practice is responsible for managing individual accounts and all the discovery and development projects therein.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking complete ownership of all project management assignments and handle the majority of the project level client communications for all appointed client accounts
  • Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing all appointed Development Services projects
  • Managing the integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risks, procurement and stakeholders of appointed Development Services projects
  • Participating in resource planning
  • Working with the Senior Manager to delegate and staff Junior Programmers, Programmers and Senior Programmers to Project Manager’s client projects
  • Supervising Junior Programmers, Programmers and Senior Programmers working on Project Manager’s client projects
  • Assisting in developing statements of work, project timekeeping and client invoicing
  • Assisting in the development of project plans for client projects in collaboration with other managers
  • Creating management reports for client projects

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Five (5) years property & casualty insurance experience (preferred)
  • Ability to travel as may be needed
  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Sharepoint Server applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce an accurate and complete work product
  • Very strong time management and project management experience
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines in a high-volume department
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Complex problem-solving abilities along with conceptual  and critical thinking
  • High degree of customer service, outcome focus and initiative
  • High degree of self-motivation and energy
