We are currently seeking a seasoned Manager, Operations & Technology Consulting, to work at one of our five (5) national offices (Santa Monica, CA, Fort Worth, TX, Cincinnati, OH, Boca Raton, FL, or Jersey City, NJ) or as a full-time or part-time telecommuter. A Perr&Knight Manager in the Operations & Technology Consulting practice is responsible for managing developers and development projects therein.

What you’ll bE DOING:

  • Supervise Junior Programmers, Programmers and Senior Programmers
  • Conduct interviews, hire and train new developers
  • Initiate, plan and execute development standards
  • Perform code reviews to insure company standards are met
  • Contribute to product design and assist in establishing requirements
  • Maintain an understanding of modern coding languages
  • Participate in resource planning
  • Assist in developing statement of works, project timekeeping and client invoicing
  • Assist in the development of project plans for client projects
  • Service as a technical lead on client implementations

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in information technology
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in management
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in software or product development
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and reporting skills
  • Expert in working with Microsoft SQL services and development tools
  • Knowledge and familiarity in other databases and database development languages
  • Experience with source code manage processes and procedures
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to complete tasks with few conceptual, structural, technical or cosmetic errors
