What you’ll be doing:

The HR Manager is responsible for performing all HR related duties working closely with and supporting the directives and initiatives of the senior leaders of the company.

The HR Manager’s Responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of staffing including recruitment, coordinating the interview process, assembling offer letters, completing background checks, on-boarding, off-boarding and processing voluntary and involuntary terminations
• Managing the company’s on-line performance review process
• Investigating and reporting allegations of employee misconduct
• Planning and executing mandatory staff training and compliance with State and Federal laws
• Developing and deploying new HR initiatives and programs and supporting existing policies and procedures
• Working with benefit providers to manage the enrollment of all employee benefits
• Managing the immigration process required for non-US citizen employees
• Developing and coordinating management training sessions
• Staying current on all HR trends nationwide
• Consulting with outside counsel and HR consultants as necessary


What you’ll bring to the table:

• 5+ years’ experience working as an HR professional
• A BA/BS degree from an accredited university
• A solid understanding of HR best practices
• Advanced Word and intermediate Excel skills
• The ability to think creatively and imaginatively
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with deadlines
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• The ability to complete tasks with few conceptual, technical or cosmetic errors
• The desire to be a culture champion who shares our values
• Experience in on-line HR management systems preferred
• PHR/SPHR preferred
