Emma McCaffrey, ACAS, MAAA   |  Consulting Actuary

Emma M. McCaffrey is a Consulting Actuary with Perr&Knight providing actuarial services to insurance companies, captive insurers and other self-insured entities. Services include loss reserve and funding projections, ratemaking, and rate filing support.

Prior to joining Perr&Knight’s Irvine, California office in 2007, Emma worked as a Senior Consultant and Actuary for Arm Tech, a division of Aon Corporation. Other prior employment included Automobile Club of Southern California, Balboa Insurance Company, SCPIE Insurance Company, Milliman U.S.A., and Zurich Insurance Company. Responsibilities included loss reserve reviews, funding projections, cost allocation studies, retention analyses, rate adequacy reviews, large account pricing and development of rating plans. She has over 25 years of experience in personal and commercial lines. These lines include workers compensation, medical malpractice, general liability, professional liability, automobile, homeowners, farmowners and lender-placed insurance.

Emma graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and earned a Master of Science in Operations Research from Michigan State University. She is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member in the American Academy of Actuaries.
